Lokesh Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Virat Kohli stroked half centuries as India were bowled out for 364 in reply to the WICB President’s XI first innings score of 180 when their three-day warm up game continued yesterday at Warner Park.
The President’s XI were 26-1 in reply at stumps on day two, trailing by 158. Leon Johnson was caught and bowled by Ravinchandran Ashwin for 17, while John Campbell is not out on nine.
Earlier, Rahul stroked nine fours and one six before he retired out for 64 after facing 127 balls in 191 minutes while Jadeja scored 56 and Kohli 51.
Other useful knocks came from Ajinkya Rahane 32, Wriddhiman Saha 31, Cheteshwar Pujara 28, Ashwin 26 and Murali Vijay 23. Rahkeem Conrwall was the pick of the bowlers for the host with 5-118 off 31.4 overs.
Scores: PRESIDENT’S XI 180 (Rahkeem Cornwall 41, Jermaine Blackwood 36, John Campbell 34; Ravindra Jadeja 3-16, Ravi Ashwin 3-62, Amit Mishra 2-45) and 26 for one.
