Veer Farhad slammed an unbeaten century to propel Blairmont Primary to a 114-run victory over Ithaca Primary when the WICB/GCB/Scotiabank Kiddy Progression One Cricket was contested at the Blairmont ground

yesterday.
Blairmont Primary batted first and compiled a mammoth 199 without lost off their allotted 14 overs. Farhad stroked 111 including 12 fours and seven sixes. His opening partner, Jaheim Elgin, supported with an unbeaten 44 with three sixes and three fours.
Ithaca never looked threatening as they folded for 85 in reply with Samuel Archibald scoring 14.
Farhad, Elgin, Nicholas Nateram and Vishual Persaud claimed two wickets each.
The Competition continues tomorrow with No. 5 and No. 8 clashing at No. 5 cricket ground in West Berbice, North Georgetown taking on Marian Academy, School of the Nations going up against St Ambrose and St. Magaret’s doing battle with Winifred Gardens at the Racquet Centre ground.
