The Pele FC will be hosting a grand Family Fun Day on Monday March, 17th at the GFC ground. The all day Event will begin at 10am with an Inter-house football competition among the Club’s members from Juniors to Masters.
For the first time, the club, which is celebrating 42 years this year, has established Houses named after past outstanding players of the Club. The houses challenging for top honors are; Clyde ‘Oiler’ Watson, Wendell ‘Figaro’ Sandiford, Keith ‘Wila’ Niles and Vibert ‘Dordee’ Butts.
Vice President of the club Alister Parris says that the idea behind the event is to create an atmosphere of club togetherness involving all members as well as supporters. In addition there will be several novelty events including, Sack race, Lime & Spoon Race, Two-legged Race, Supporters’ race and Tug-o-war.
