Table Tennis Camp billed for West Dem from August 19-25
A West Demerara Table Tennis Camp, sponsored by Payless Varity Store, is billed from August 19-25 at the Goed Fortuin Community Centre from 09:00hrs to 13:30hrs each day.
The Camp caters for young Racquet Wielders in three age group categories (6-10), (13-15) & (18-Open) and the youngsters will be coached by Mooniram Persaud and Raymon Mc Clennon.
The aim of the one-week Camp is to revive interest in the sport among young people in West Demerara and to increase the talent pool of players.
Participants are not required to pay a registration fee and should be attired in Tee-Shirt, Short Pants and Sneakers. Each participant should be equipped with a Table Tennis Racquet. No slippers are to be worn by the players. (S. Devers)
