Trophy Stall of Bourda Market has thrown its support behind the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (GABBFF) Novice & Intermediate Championships set for this Sunday under the theme – Muscle Invasion.
Trophy Stall has donated a beautiful trophy that will be presented to the overall winner of the Novice competition.
At a simple ceremony at Bourda Market yesterday, Assistant Secretary\Treasurer of the GABBFF Kalvin Homer received the prize from Trophy Stall staff member Leroy Jack.

Homer in return expressed gratitude on behalf of the GABBFF to Manager of Trophy Stall Ramesh Sunich for his continued support and partnership noting that Sunich has always been there for them.
The championships are set for the Theatre Guild Sunday May 12th with muscle flexing starting from 19:00hrs.
Fans can look forward to a night of quality and exciting competition as athletes from Berbice, East Bank Demerara, East Coast Demerara, West Bank Demerara and Linden will be coming up against each other.
A new category – Flyweight (Under 132lbs) – will be introduced this year. The other categories are Junior Under 21 years-old, Bantamweight (Under-143lbs), Welterweight (144lbs-154lbs), Lightweight (155lbs-165lbs), Light Middleweight (166 – 176lbs), Heavyweight (177lbs & Over), Over-35 and Masters Over-40.
The ladies will compete in the Miss Fitness Open and Miss Physique.
In keeping with a quality evening for the fans and supporters, the GABBFF has secured the services of Mr. Barbados 2011, Stevenson Belle who will be the guest poser. Admission will be $1500.
