A consoling atmosphere permeated the First Assembly of God Church, L&P Durban Street, Wortmanville yesterday afternoon as dozens packed the pews and lined the roadway to bid farewell to the late Golden Jaguar, Colin Keith Edwards; May 5th 1991 – February 16th, 2013.

The service was compact with the Eulogy delivered by Ocie Thomas; tributes by Sampson Gilbert, Head Coach of Fruta Conquerors Football Club and Guyana Football Federation President (ag) Franklin Wilson.
The former goalkeeper also represented Alpha United and had a stint with Trinidad and Tobago’s Pro League side, Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA.
The gathering was told that he was a disciplined and dedicated worker and was very passionate about the game.
Pastor Raphael Jackman, himself a former player, delivered the Sermon that was likened to the game.
