Guyana’s ‘Golden Jaguars’ looking to open campaign on positive note against Bajans
Guyana and Barbados will clash today in a Group ‘B’ 2014 World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium.
Both Coaches in earlier interviews did express confidence ahead of the important game, but with Guyana enjoying a higher ranking that the Bajans and playing at home the odds are stacked in their favour.
The Barbadians seen practicing how to defend against the corner kicks last evening at the National Stadium.
Add to that most of their influential overseas-based players are back in the squad with players such as Gregory Richardson, Shawn Beveney, Jake Newton and Captain Chris Nurse, all expected to be in the starting line-up for the ‘Golden Jaguars’.
