ECB to stage twenty/20 festival on Saturday at Anna Regina
The Essequibo Cricket Board will host a twenty/20 festival on Saturday at the Anna Regina Community Centre ground in an effort to raise funds for the development of the sports in the county.
Four teams namely South Warriors, Bartica Tigers, Pomeroon Lions and Central Districts will battle for the top prize of $100,000, donated by Banks D.I.H Ltd.
According to the E.C.B secretary Linden Daniels the runner up team will receive $50,000 – compliments of a number of other sponsors and action will start at 1:00 pm.
Meanwhile an Over-40 exhibition 10/10 match will be played between Imam Bacchus XI and Pomeroon before the final.
