Everest to host Softball cricket tonight
The Everest cricket club will come alive tonight when the club stages its first softball cricket game under floodlights for the 2009 season.
The action is scheduled to commence at 19:00hrs and the home team will come up against a specially selected Trophy Stall combination in a feature 25 overs per side game.
Trophies will be up for grabs for the Man-of-the-Match, best fielder, best batsman, and best catch and all trophies are sponsored by the Trophy Stall of Bourda Market.
Admission to the ground is free and according to the organizers there will be lots to eat and drink.
The Trophy Stall team will be Captained by Reyaz Hussain and include Shiek Mohamed, Derick Ramotar, Mike Singh, Ramesh Sunich, Robert Persaud, Kamal Seebarran, Dayne Yan, Daniel Downs, Vicky Ramsawack, Dharam Persaud, Buddy Rahaman.
