AGRIPARTS Marine Inc & Agri Heavy Machinery Inc Powers Up as Bronze Sponsor for 2026 IMC O40s Cricket World Cup in Guyana
Kaieteur Sports – The Cricket West Indies Masters Association (CWIMA) is pleased to announce AGRIPARTS Marine Inc and Agri Heavy Machinery Inc (AHMI) as a Bronze Sponsor for the 2026 IMC O40s Cricket World Cup, set to be held in Guyana from October 17 to November 1, 2026.
The sponsorship brings together two of Guyana’s leading machinery and equipment providers under one banner. AGRIPARTS Marine Inc, the company’s marine division, provides specialized products and services for Guyana’s growing maritime sector.
Agri Heavy Machinery Inc (AHMI), founded in 2022, is the official local agent and distributor for Kobelco Construction Machinery in Guyana. As the authorized dealer for the trusted Japanese brand, AHMI supplies Kobelco’s full line of hydraulic excavators—including the SK 55, SK 140, and SK 210 models—alongside genuine spare parts supported by weekly shipments from Kobelco’s Texas facility.

The company also offers one-year warranties on manufacturer defects and maintains in-house trained Kobelco technicians to provide comprehensive after-sale and service support. Both divisions operate under the broader Agri Parts Machinery and Services (APMS) umbrella, a family-owned enterprise with over three decades of service to Guyana.
Zahrah Alli, Director of Agri Heavy Machinery Inc, commented: “Sports, especially cricket, has a unique power to unite Guyanese across all sectors of society. When we assessed the sponsorship opportunities available, it was an easy decision to come on board as a Bronze Sponsor for such a major international event.”

The 2026 IMC Over-40s Cricket World Cup will feature up to 16 international teams, including major Test-playing nations such as Australia, England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, South Africa, and the host West Indies. The tournament will include 72 matches, with broad international exposure through live streaming of every match and 16 televised matches on Willow TV.
Raj Singh, CWIMA Chairman, said: “The sponsorship and endorsement from such a prominent Guyanese commercial entity underscores the growing economic confidence in Guyana’s ability to host major international events. The sponsorship builds on AHMI’s established record of supporting Guyanese sport, having previously sponsored the ENet Caribbean Clash of Champions motorsport event. The company also holds Local Content Register approval and continues to expand its service capabilities through advanced technical training in diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and mechatronics associated with the Kobelco brand.
As a Bronze Sponsor, AGRIPARTS Marine Inc and Agri Heavy Machinery Inc will receive brand visibility across tournament materials, digital assets, social and digital promotion, and official sponsor recognition associated with this major international event. The 2026 IMC O40s Cricket World Cup is sanctioned by International Masters Cricket (IMC) and organized locally by CWIMA.
Matches will be contested at Providence Stadium, along with other venues in Palmyra, Anna Regina, and Linden, showcasing the nation’s readiness to host a world-class sporting spectacle.
