Kaieteur Sports – Several teams recorded victories in latest play of the Balgobin Memorial T20 Cricket Competition being played in North Essequibo.
In latest matches contested recently, Reliance Hustlers vs Walton Hall Junior @ Walton Hall resulted in Walton Hall Junior hitting 166-10 in 19.4 overs with Anthony Persaud 33 and Kevin Persaud 32 being the leading scorers. Beesham seepersaud 3-43 and Narendra Mandolall 2-23 led the bowling effort for Reliance Hustlers, who replied with 168-2 in 14 overs.
Nathan Persaud 64 and Neilan Codogan 51 led them to victory. Manoj Lall with 2-21 took the wickets to fall.
IIS Challengers vs Sparwin @ Sparta saw IIS Challengers rattling up 143-10 off 19.2 overs with Trivel Evans 25 and Zameer Zaman 24. Gary Raghnauth bagged 5-15 and Anmole Persaud 2-18 bowling for Sparwin who buckled to 70-10 in 9.1 overs. Dellon Osborne claimed 5-25 for the winners.
Young Achievers vs Richmond United @ Richmond – Young Achievers reached 131-10 off 20 overs. Chandrapaul Bhoopaul 27 and Raphael David 23 was the top scorers. Glendon Smith took 2-22 and Tyrese Stephany 2-27 for Richmond United who fell just short at 130-6 in 20 overs. Punraj Singh 35 and S. Ahiram 32 led their effort. Shamir Amin 2-15 and Raphael David 1-26 were the wicket takers.
Renegades vs DC Titans @ Joe Jagmohan ground – Renegades rattled up 146-7 off their 20 overs with Sydney Peters 48 and Alex Collins 32 the run-getters. Avinash Persaud 3-19 and Suresh Persaud 2-20 were among the wickets. DC Titans hit off the required runs, ending on 147-1 in 14 overs with West Indies Over-40 player, Vishan Lall, hammering an unbeaten 87* to lead them home.
