Kaieteur Sports – All systems are in place for the hosting of the inaugural Region 5 Softball Cricket Extravaganza, which is slated for today at the Bath Community Centre Ground from 9 am.
Softball teams will be vying for supremacy as they take to the fields in showcasing their strength in the local game.
According to the organisers teams from other regions has also indicated their participation in both male and female categories.

Representative of J&G Supermarket, Lanae Morris, hands over her entity’s support to a representative of RS Sports.
The one-day limited overs knockout competition will see both male and female teams in action.
According to the organisers players will have the opportunity to once again showcase their skills in the game as the format will be round arm bowling and extras in place.
According to the organisers teams will be vying for cash incentives and trophies along with prizes for the best bowling figures and highest score in an innings, MVPs and player of the finals.
There will be lots of side attractions for the kids and entertainment for the entire family.
