Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) will be hosting their I-CEE Soft Drinks Chess Grand Prix Three, this Saturday January 24, 2026 at the David Rose Special School.
GCF on Tuesday confirmed the tournament when Mr. Shiv Nandalall, GCF PR Director was presented with the cheque at Banks DIH’s Thirst Park location.

Speaking at the brief presentation, I-CEE Brand Manager Clayton McKenzie said the company was pleased to be onboard such an event.
“Banks DIH is pleased to collaborate with the GCF in its third Olympiad 2026 Qualifiers Grand Prix chess tournament through our I-CEE brand,” said McKenzie.
Meanwhile, Nandalall expressed gratitude to the company on behalf of the GCF and looks forward to a successful collaboration in 2026.
The GCF hit the ground running as soon as 2026 arrived, with a number of weekend Rapid events and tournaments, all geared towards the continued development of the fraternity and its upcoming stars.
