Dear Editor
Zadok Minister’s Fellowship, a network of over one hundred churches, throughout, Regions 1 -10, upholds the mandate given by God to be our brothers’ and sisters’ keeper. It is with this noble responsibility, we sound our voices against the malicious act of arson against Outreach Ministries International Winners’ Cathedral.
Zadok Minister’s Fellowship has since followed the situation, of which video footage revealed the fire to the building was an intentional act. As members of the Body of Christ, we at Zadok Minister’s Fellowship strongly condemn this malicious act committed against our brothers and sisters who worship at Outreach Ministries International Winners’ Cathedral. Zadok Minister’s Fellowship, condemns such acts against all places of worship, regardless of our religious beliefs.
To remain silent is to allow those who are bent on being devious and malicious, to drive fear and intimidate those who practice their religious rights. Places of worship are sacred and offer refuge for those who seek it. Hence, when congregants gather there’s a sense of security. Therefore, we believe this act of arson intends to infiltrate that sense of security.
We strongly condemn this act and will sincerely engage in prayer for those connected to planning and execution of the fire, for swift justice. While the founder of Zadok Ministers Fellowship is our beloved, Bishop Juan Edghill, we do not see this as a personal attack against him nor his family. We view this as an attack against the Church of the Living God and against all those who gather at such places of worship.
The entire Christian community raises its voice in condemnation of this act. Our prayers are with the leaders and members of Outreach Ministries International Winners’ Cathedral and remain with them until justice prevails. We give thanks to God that no lives were lost and commend all those who lent their assistance during that time.
Sincerely
Zadok Ministries
