Kaieteur Sports – The new executive body of the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) will be teeing off what is expected to be a thrilling new season of golf activities and tournaments.
A recent announcement was made by recently elected LGC president Anasha Ally and according to Ally, golfers will be exposed to better Greens with freshly cut Fairways, which complement upgrades across the facility located at Lusignan on the East Coast.
LGC Club Superintendent, Deno Bissessar, and his men led the efforts which were geared towards breathing new life into the venue, with a host of activities on the horizon.
Ally and her team have sought out to refurbish the club by conducting a number of repairs, cleaning campaigns among other areas of need.
Also, former president Per Patanjali Persaud was lauded for his successful tenure. Persaud was instrumental in providing a roller for the club’s tee boxes and greens; among other areas of development.
With systems in check, the LGC body said it’s adamant that the upcoming season will be a resounding success with tons of competition and fun outlined for the foreseeable future.
