Kaieteur News – The Academy Training Centre (ATC) train continues to move in the respective Regional Member Associations (RMA) of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) with the Upper Demerara Football Association (UDFA), the latest to get going.

Upper Demerara youths getting back into the playing groove at the West Watooka Playfield on Saturday last.
Last weekend, youths from the association were involved in the opening of the ATC at the West Watooka Playfield where they participated in small sided games as the intent in these initial sessions is to get them back to some level of playing given the continued challenges being brought on by the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
GFF Youth Development Officer (YDO) Brian Joseph who has responsibility for all the ATC’s informed that the focus for now would be mass participation where the opportunity would be utalised top scout players who will go on to become part of the Elite ATC Player Pool at the various levels, U-13, 15, 17 and 20.
Sessions in the UDFA will continue tomorrow at the Wisburg School Ground. Other RMA’s with their ATC’s up and running to date are East Bank, Bartica and Georgetown.
