Semifinal on today in UCCA Price Is Right Supermarket T20 Knockout cricket
The fixture has been drawn for the semifinals of the Upper Corentyne Cricket Association (UCCA) Price Is Right Supermarket T20 Cricket Competition which is being played for teams in the Upper Corentyne and Black Bush Areas.
Following a meeting of the Competitions Committee of the UCCA the three winners and the team that drew the bye from the last round will play for a spot in the final.
The two matches will also be played at neutral venues.
The fixture is as follows: Jukestown Warriors will take on No70 “A” Spartans at No72 Cut and Load Ground.
No69 Red Rose will take on No72 Cut and Load at the No70 Ground.
The two losing semifinalist will take home $50,000 each.
The final is set for next Sunday at the No69 Ground. Cash and other incentives will be awarded to the winner and runner up, while outstanding individual performers will also be rewarded.
The UCCA is led by businessman Dennis D’Andrade. The competition is coordinated by the UCCA competitions committee which is led former National wicketkeeper batsman Sydney Jackman. (Samuel Whyte)
