Overseas based Guyanese student-athlete, Joanna Archer, has gotten her season off to a fantastic start by resetting Monroe College’s 500m indoor
record during her scintillating run at the University at Albany’s Great Dane Classic last Saturday at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Centerin Staten Island, New York.
The Carifta games silver medalist shared with Kaieteur Sport that she was elated with her performance as she aims to continuing improving in 2020.
Archer placed third in the race after clocking 1m 14s in the 500m middle distance event, lowering her previous held school record and registering a new person best (PB) in the event.
