Car theft was rampant and the authorities knew why. Dealers and spare parts vendors found it easier to have stolen car parts and stolen cars than to use their money to import. But the net is closing in. There will be more arrests, because people will begin to report suspicious activities.
However, many people will not be able to identify the parts from their cars because they never marked them.

Another report of a missing school child who will leave to attend a Mashramani event will have tongues wagging. It will turn out that the child would simply leave with a partner who would use another child to lure the susceptible victim.
One day later the child will return home.

The hours of night are not the best time for pedestrians because of errant drivers. This will be borne out by a hit and run in the vicinity of the Brickdam Police Station. However the police would nab this driver, because he would not be able to hide the damaged vehicle.
