Savage, Mike’s Wellman and HS Masters recorded victories when the latest round of matches in the Regal Sport T20 softball tournament concluded on Sunday at Everest Cricket Club.
Savage defeated Albion Masters by one wicket. Batting first, Albion Masters managed 164 all out in 19.5 overs. John Sumair struck 95, while H. Bojh got 45; Randolph Pereira claimed 3-9 and Herbert Gentle 3-29. Savage responded with 165-9 in 14.4 overs. Kennard Luke made 41, Ramo Malone 31 and Bheem Singh 18. V. Moonsammy, H. Hussain and Sumair took two wickets each.
Mike’s Wellman beat Regal by five wickets. Regal took first strike and scored 105 all out in 11.1 overs. Sachin Singh got 37 and Patrick Rooplall 24; Travis Alphonso snared 4-12. Wellman responded with 111-5 in 11.3 overs. Rajesh Reddy made 30 and Andre Seymour 14. Delroy Perreira had 3-21.
Savage overcame HS Masters by six wickets. HS Masters took first strike and got to 149-7. Danny Mohanram made 34, while Manoj Arjune and Rudy Samaroo made 18 apiece. Randolph Pereira, Bheem Singh and Ramo Malone captured two wickets each. Savage replied with 152-4 in 16.2 overs. Malone stroked 64 not out and Singh 34. Mike Ifill took 2-26.
HS Masters got the better of Tropical Springs by four wickets. Tropical Springs scored 176-7. D. Ramdin cracked 71 and V. Baljit 33. Manoj Arjune had 3-14. HS Masters responded with 177-6. H. Wright made 37, A. Sookram got 30 and B. Lakeram 27; R. Khan took two wickets.
