Imam Bacchus Sports Club defeated Essequibo Cricket Board Golden Fleece Rice Investment
Academy XI by 30 runs in a 30-over fixture played on Sunday at Imam Bacchus ground Affiance, Essequibo Coast.
Batting first, Imam Bacchus SC posted 213 in 30 overs with Parmesh Persaud scoring 47, Runraj Singh 36 and Navindra Persaud 31; Joshua Jones claimed 3-21 and Joel Fortune 2-53.
Golden Fleece Rice Investment XI responded with 183 in 30 overs. Temal Jaikarran got 40, Fortune 20 and Jones 18. Govinda Gobin snared 2-16.
