WCC Trophy Stall T20 final on today at Maria’s Pleasure
Dr. Ismel Hernandez Matos and Yamona Rajpaul both of Trophy Stall display the prizes.
Kaieteur Sports – The final of the Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC), Trophy Stall T20 tournament is set for today at Maria’s Pleasure cricket ground.
Home team Maria’s Pleasure will face Zeelandia from 13:00hrs and a keen contest is anticipated.
Both teams registered victories in their respective semifinal games last weekend.
Zeelandia will be led by Navishaul Pooran and includes Ricardo Adams, Ronaldo Scouten and Ronnie Ganagaram, while Maria’s Pleasure will be spearheaded by Kennard Lewis who will look to support from Bernard Lewis, Leorayan Ramlakhan, Leonard Lewis, Mahadeo Ramdeo and Kemraj Persaud among others.
Teams- Zeelandia – Navishaul Pooran, Ricardo Adams, Ronnie Gangaram, Varendra Pooran, Mohindra Jadookool, Deepak Garib, Devon Rambaran, Ronaldo Schouten, Joshua Williams, Denny Sitaram, Hamanth Babooram and Davo Ragobir.
Maria’s Pleasure – Kennard Lewis, Bernard Lewis, Leorayan Ramlakhan, Mahadeo Ramdeo, Hemraj Persaud, Pooran Persaud, Leonard Lewis, Marsh Singh, Bhawanie Persaud, Alec Clementson, Samuel De Camp, Leonardo Lewis and Mark Lewis.
The winning, runner up teams and man of the match will receive trophies.
