The Regional Women’s Super 50 tournament continues today with host Guyana facing Jamaica at Everest in their final preliminary round game. A win for the host nation (11 points) who along with Trinidad and Tobago (10 points) are leading the points table can earn them a place in the final on Sunday.
The Guyanese are brimming with confidence following a nine-wicket victory over the Leeward Islands on Wednesday in a tournament which is being badly affected by rain. In the other fixtures, Windwards will take on Trinidad and Tobago at Enmore and Barbados will face Leewards at Enterprise.

Meanwhile, there was no play in the WICB Under-17 50-over Tournament in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday as a result of rain. The competition continues tomorrow with Guyana playing Jamaica at the National Cricket Centre, Trinidad and Tobago facing Leewards at Inshan Ali Park and Windwards meeting Barbados at Gilbert Park.
