Kaieteur Sports – The team at Nexgen Golf Academy and Westside Golf Course continues to demonstrate its commitment to sports development through affordable and effective ground maintenance services across Guyana.
The YMCA Ground was recently refurbished by the maintenance team and, despite five consecutive days of heavy rainfall, the facility remains in top condition and fully usable for sporting activities.
Another success story is the Gandhi Youth Organization Ground, home of Regal All Stars Cricket Club led by Anil Hardyal. Through its partnership with Nexgen Golf Academy and Westside Golf Course, the venue has continued to provide reliable weekly access for cricketers.
“Ever since we started the relationship to maintain our ground, they have kept it in excellent condition week after week, even at a moment’s notice,” said Anil.
Several other prominent facilities, including Demerara Cricket Club, Malteenoes Sports Club, GNIC, and Queen’s College, have also benefited in recent months from the extensive ground maintenance expertise and the largest fleet of commercial mowers operated by Nexgen Golf Academy and Westside Golf Course.
According to Aleem Hussain, “We see a strong connection between golf and cricket, and as a result, we will continue to provide affordable maintenance services to any sports ground upon request. Interested organizations can call 645-0944 and we will do our best to respond promptly.”
The initiative continues to play an important role in ensuring that sporting facilities remain accessible and functional year-round, especially during Guyana’s challenging rainy season.
