Graham’s Hall defeated St. Ambrose by eight wickets when the National Sports Commission 50 shades of games primary schools Windball competition continued recently in Georgetown.
Batting first in the male category, St. Ambrose managed 31-4 with Akalem Griffith scoring 11. Jeremiah Letch had 2-0.
Graham’s Hall responded with 35 – 2. Josiah Grootfan got 19 and Anthony Geer got 15. In the female division, Graham’s Hall thumped St. Ambrose by 40 runs. Graham’s Hall posted 109-2 including 33 extras. Sarena Razack struck 35 and Akeila Hayles 24.
Saint Ambrose in reply were restricted to 63-2, with Alicia Felix getting 24.
St. Angela’s beat Sophia by nine wickets. Sophia were limited to 46-5, taking first knock. Reshanna La Rose scored 12; Shandy Davis took 3-23.
St. Angela’s turn in the middle saw them reach their target 50-1, with Davis slamming 40. Bel Air went down to Winfer Gardens by six wickets. Bel Air got to 30 without loss, taking first strike. Tiffany Barrow made 18. Winfer Gardens responded with 33-4. Air Crystal took 2-4.
