Rising Star to host fitness event on May 22
Rising Star in collaboration with Office of the Presidency will be hosting an Independence 5k walk as well as a 5k and 10k run on May 22 commencing at Square of the Revolution from 16:00hrs.
Entrance fee is $500 and $1000. All participants will receive a souvenir medal and T-Shirt, while cash prizes will be up for grabs. More information can be obtained through calling 673-8829 or 668-7897.
The event is being sponsored by Banks DIH, GT and T, Real Value, BK Inc, Star Party Rentals, E Networks, Ansa McAl, S and L Electrical, Wartsila, Metro, Payless Toucan Industries, TG and Antarctic Maintenance.
