EBFA / Ralph Green U-11 Final …Agricola to face Craig Primary for title; Friendship and Grove for third
A new Under-11 champion in the East Bank Football Association will be crowned tomorrow

when the final of the Ralph Green sponsored tournament is contested between Agricola Red Triangle and Craig Primary School.
The third place match will see Grove High Tech coming up against debut team, Friendship All Stars.
Craig is the only team yet to taste defeat in the competition and they will be hoping that that trend will continue as they venture to cross the final hurdle, successfully. They drew their first two matches against Diamond United and Grove in qualifying for the semi finals as the second placed team from Group A.
In both group matches they failed to score a single goal but when they faced the top team from Group B, Friendship in their semi final match, Friendship, previously unbeaten were downed 5-0 on account of goals from Joshua Moore (2), Sheldon Wickham (2) and Romeo King.
Craig looks a solid unit in offense and defence and they have the players that can turn back the challenge of their final opponent, Agricola Red Triangle who however, will be no pushovers.
Agricola had given up a walk over to Friendship in the first match but stormed back in their second to upset former champions Herstelling Raiders 3-1, the Raiders also lost to Friendship, 2-0.
Craig Primary School U-11.
In their final four game against Grove Hi Tech, Agricola and the home team battled to a 0-0 draw in regulation and extra time. The Agricola lads were then triumphant 4-2 from the penalty spot.
Floyd Boyce who netted twice against Herstelling and also scored from the penalty spot in their triumph against Grove will lead his side’s quest for championship glory. Assistance will come from Kevon Cato, Raheem Matthews and Jamal Fyffe among others.
The third place match will also be an interesting showdown between the two semi final losers who will both be out to show that they can rebound. Friendship will depend on Shavi Atkinson to lead their victory bid while Grove’s Captain, Tyrese Jones will fancy his chances of leading the home team to victory. Action time is 10:30hrs.
At stake for the winning team will be the Ralph Green Lien trophy along with first place medals. Second, third and fourth (participatory) medals will also be presented along with five individual trophies that will go to the Highest Goal Scorer, Most Valuable Player, Best Goalkeeper, Most Disciplined Player and Most Improved Player.
