A brilliant all-round performance from former Berbice and Guyana Under-19 cricketer Khemraj Mahadeo guided Rose Hall Town Bakewell (RHTB) to an easy victory over Whim in the last round of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) / New Building Society (NBS) Second Division cricket tournament.

It was the fourth successive victory for Rose Hall Town Bakewell team, Mahadeo recording his third half century for the tournament. Batting first after losing the toss, Whim were bowled out for 157 in 29.3 overs.
The top scorers were P. Tilkaram 30, Aaron Thakoordeen 23, V.Sookshine 27 and N. Deonarine 17. Bowling for RHTB, Mahadeo took 5-27, Rondell Lewis 2-26, Erva Giddings 2-20 with a wicket each for Sylus Tyndall and Azam Khan.
In reply, Mahadeo and former Berbice Under-19 player Vidal Crandon added 70 for the first wicket in just 8.5 overs before Crandon was bowled by Anthony Deosarran for 39 (2×4 2×6). Mahadeo was then joined by West Indies female cricketer Shemaine Campbelle and they added 90 for the 2nd wicket to carry RHTB to victory at 160-1 in the 21st over.
Mahadeo ended unbeaten on 80 (10×4 2×6) and Campbelle on 31 (2×4). Deosarran took the lone wicket to fall for 30 off six overs.
