The curtains will come down on the East Bank Football Association (EBFA)/Ministry of Sport sponsored knock-out football competition today at the Grove Playfield.
Clashing for the first place and trophy is home team Grove Hi Tech and Kuru Kururu Warriors in what is anticipated to be a fierce battle as the teams will also be focused on getting in valuable playing time ahead of the official start of the EBFA season next month.
A supporting game will kick off proceedings for the afternoon at 13:00hrs between Diamond Football Club and Timehri Falcons.
Leading the Warriors’ quest for victory today will be Ryan Scott, Cordell Johnson, Steve Gibson, Rakesh Hemnauth, Nandy Johnson, Christopher Alleyne, Ian English, Joseph Walker, Ivan Abraham, Paul Joseph and Dillon Roberts.
Grove will start the match as favorites to add yet another title to their collection. Carrying their charge will be the likes of Domini Garnett, Clive Matthews, Orson Francois, Lloyd Matthews, Travis Jones, Nathaniel Pilgrim, John Matthews, Trevor Jones, Delroy Dodson, Moses Fraser, Romel Matthews, Alex Sinclair, Seon Simpson and Shermon Doris.
