The Guyana Tennis Association (GLTA) in partnership with the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry Ltd. will hold a Tennis camp for all ages starting this weekend at the Bank’s brand new Tennis Courts on the premises of its Diamond Branch, East Bank Demerara.
The camp starts at 13:00hrs on Saturday August 13 and will cater for both children and Adults. Coaching for children will be done from 13:00hrs to 15:00hrs and adults from 16:00hrs to 18:00hrs. All are encouraged to register as early as possible for the camp which will be conducted by certified coaches affiliated with the Tennis Association.
Persons can register in person at the Bank’s Diamond Branch or by calling any of the following numbers at GBTI Diamond – 265-3936 or Andre Lopes at 685-0889.
Residents of the East Bank are urged to take advantage of the fully sponsored two weekend camp which coincides with the opening of the Bank’s brand new tennis facility to the public after the camp concludes on August 21.
Tennis is one of the world’s most popular sports and is widely regarded as the sport of a lifetime. Scientists from various schools of thought have also deemed tennis as one of the best sports anyone can choose to play.
