Achievers Youth and Sports Club to hold award ceremony tomorrow
The Achievers Youth and Sports Club of West Berbice will be holding its 9th Annual Award and Prize Giving Ceremony tomorrow, Saturday 26th March, 2011, at the R.D.C Board Room, Fort Wellington, West Coast, Berbice.
They will honour Outstanding Performances for 2010 commencing from 14:00 hours (2 pm). Guest Speaker will be Director of Sports Mr. Carl Brandon in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and officials from the Cricket Board will also be present.
Twenty five Awards are listed to be handed out among those in line to collect them are:
1. Cricketer and Ambassador of the Club – Three Cricketers are vying for this; Raffel Estraido, Krishendat Ramoo and Keon Joseph.
2. Under 19 – Brentol Woolford, Sheroy McPherson and Raffel Estraido.
3. Under 17 – Shardat Harripaul and Quacy McPherson
4. Under 15 – Kurd Griffith and Quacy McPherson
5. Under 13 – Osbert Cain, Grisean Grant and Darius Nedd
