Please be informed that the GABF (Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation) has recently selected the following persons to represent Guyana at the ‘Children of the Word Youth Camp’ (a social event for the youths balancing basketball, education and culture) scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, August 24–31.
This Camp is a multi-national, multi-cultural activity for boys and girls with 400 teenagers, age 14 years, from all over the world and Turkey, and 200 Coaches (under 35 years old) expected to improve their basketball skills.
They will practice many “Team Work and Team Play” activities and games, experience the beauty of Istanbul, enjoy Turkish cuisine, have fun and watch World Championship games.
