Klass installs interim Football Association in Lethem

Long-serving President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF), Colin Klass, on May 16 installed an interim body to run Football in Rupununi until elections are held in the first week of September.
Region 9 Football Official Brian Sam told Kaieteur Sport yesterday that Klass arrived in Lethem to oversee the elections of the Rupununi Football Association (RFA) but after most of the members failed to show up the GFF Boss formed the interim body since according to Sam, the present 6-sub Association were not functioning.
Sam informed that Carl Parker has been elected as Chairman, Kerry Jarvis (Vice-President), Egbert Ralph (Secretary), Brian Rodrigues (A/Secretary) and Brian Sam (Treasurer). The new body paid a visit to the Regional Chairman Claurindo Lucas last Wednesday to update him on their plans for football until September.
