After two rounds of competitive cricket, the Berbice Zone of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) First Division 3-Day Cricket Competition continues today with the start of two of the scheduled three Group A third round matches.
With the Rose Hall, Welfare Ground hosting a comedy show, the Bermine vs Police match was shifted to the Edinburgh ground. With the Blairmont Community Centre Ground also unavailable to host the West Berbice vs Edinburgh match because of another such show at that ground, it was decided to allow Edinburgh to host West Berbice at their ground resulting in the postponement of the Bermine vs Police match.
The two matches scheduled to start today, continue tomorrow and end on Sunday November 29 are: Young Warriors vs Blairmont Community Centre at Cumberland (Umpires Roshan Moakan and Zaheer Moakan) and Edinburgh vs West Berbice at Edinburgh (Umpires Joseph Simon and Rafik Latif). Play is scheduled to start at 10.30hrs each day.
