Regal XI clash with Untouchable in Sanjay’s Jewellery softball tourney

Regal XI will collide with rivals Untouchable of Berbice in the first of the two games fixed for Sunday in the Sanjay’s Jewellery four-team softball knock-out cricket competition at the Guyana Softball, Windball and Cricket Association (GSW&CA) ground, Carifesta Avenue.
This was disclosed yesterday following the drawing which was done at Sanjay’s new location at 26 Sheriff Street, Georgetown, by organizing secretary of GSW&CA, Royston Ramsarran, Regal XI skipper Khalid Haslim and the sponsor Sanjay Persaud.
The other game will see Ryan XI facing Success XI on the number two pitch, while the final will be played on the middle wicket.
The action is set to get cracking from 10:00hrs. The winning team will take home $35, 000, while the runners-up will collect $10, 000. The man-of-the-match will receive a special prize from Sanjay’s Jewellery.
