Top prize of $60,000 at stake, some 30 teams expected to face off
A grand one-day Inter Corporation dominos competition is fixed for the Banks DIH Sports Club on Friday compliments of organizer Lyall Gittens and Banks DIH.

Workers from some 30 organisations are expected to forget about the grind of everyday work as they compete for top honours and bragging rights in what is expected to be a fiercely contested competition.
At stake for the winning team is $60,000 cash and a trophy, the runner up will pocket $40,000 and trophy while the 3rd place team will be $20,000 richer and will also receive a case of Banks Beer and trophy.
The player to share the first double love will be awarded $3,000 and trophy. Entrance fee per team is $6,000.
According to organizer Gittens, the response has been very overwhelming to date with a number of entities already confirming their participation. Among them are Bank of Guyana, Republic Bank, Western Union, Courts, National Communications Network, Sterling Products, Stabroek News, Chronicle, Banks DIH and Guyana Power and Light.
Four games per sitting will be the format of the competition which will get going at 18:00hrs on Friday evening.
