11 races to be contested

The 32-riders currently participating in the 33rd Annual National Sports Commission (NSC) ‘Teach Them Young’ 8-week cycling clinic will have the opportunity to test what they have learnt after two weeks of training under coach, Hassan Mohamed M.S.
Ansa Mcal Trading under their Smalta brand will sponsor tomorrow’s 11-race meet set for the Inner Circuit of the National Park tomorrow. Pedal off time is 09:00hrs.
According to Mohamed, tomorrow’s meet is also opened to other riders who compete at the National Park. The ‘Teach Them Young’ clinic has completed two of the eight weeks so far.
The feature clash will see the top guns matching pedals in the school boys and novices 35-lapper.
The other races scheduled are for juveniles (10 laps); upright (5 laps); veterans under and over 50 (5 laps each); 12-14 (3 laps), along with the usual BMX races for 12-14 (3 laps); 9-12 (3 laps); 6-9 (1 lap); girls 6-12 (1 lap).
Representatives of Ansa Mcal Trading are expected to be on hand to assist with the presentation of prizes.
