The 50-miler, which started at the Wales Police Station on the West Bank, proceeding to Busy Park on the East Bank of Essequibo before returning to the Demerara Harbour Bridge for the finish, saw Holder winning in a time of 1 hour 57 minutes 26 seconds ahead of fellow junior Daniel Ramchurjee who returned to competitive cycling for the first time this year.
Ian ‘Dumb Boy’ Jackson placed third followed by Tony Simon, Robin Persaud and Raymond Newton.
Holder also won the junior category ahead of Ramchurjee with Geron Williams third.
