Commenting on his fine form, Sarwan noted that the hard work he has been putting in is beginning to pay the required dividends.
“I’ve done a lot of work with CJ who has been helping me in the gym to lose a bit of weight. But I think that one of the things that has worked for me throughout the series is that my shot selection has been much better than before.”
The right handed batsman said he is delighted to be back home and is looking forward to the series.
Coach John Dyson in brief comments stated that the players are all happy and has been showing good form and that the results are coming their way.
“It’s the reward you gain and you earn by lots of hard practice and hard work and that’s what the players put in.”
Dyson stated that they are hoping to maintain excellent form while acknowledging that they have been able to put pressure on England with the twenty20 victory and are endeavoring to maintain the ability to continue in a similar vain.
“It’s going to be very difficult and we expect to have a very tough contest in the one day series.
Hopefully if we get all the basics right and continue with the good form, we’ll earn a good result in the series.”
Meanwhile, the English will hold a press brief at the Pegasus Hotel this morning from 9:30.
