Kaieteur Sports – Tonight another double header in the inaugural Linden Summer Super Cup Football Tournament is set for the Bayrock National Stadium in Wismar, Linden.
The first clash is between Blueberry Hill and Winners Connection at 6:30pm, with the second bringing together Hi Stars and Aroiama from 9:00pm.
On Wednesday, PDey Stars won their match against Aroiama 2-0, compliments of strikes from Shaquan Daniels in the 75th minute and Samuel Belle, who netted in the 75th minute.
In the other match that night, Winners Connection overcame Fearless 2-1. Fearless took the lead in the 29th minute, but second half goals by Anthony Layne in the 51st minute and another from the boot of Charles Archer in the 54th minute ensured Winners Connection won.
In other related results, a winner could not be determined when Coomacka and TOPP XX FC’s game ended in a 0-0 stalemate, but Eagles FC whipped Silver Shattas FC 3-0, behind a hat-trick from Deon Charter which came in the 27th, 48th and 66th minutes.
Tomorrow night, the competition continues with two more matches with Silver Shattas taking in Milerock at 6:30pm and to follow is PDey Stars versus Net Rockers.
