2026 Beharry U19 School’s T20 Cricket tournament… Zone 7 set for exciting double header this weekend at Cotton Tree Ground
Kaieteur Sports – The Zone 7 leg of the Beharry School’s Under-19 T20 Cricket tournament continues today, July 18th with action shifting to the Ancient County of Berbice, as the competition nears its crunch stages.
In the first match, Rosignol Secondary will play Bush Lot Secondary 9:00h with their battle set to be an exciting encounter.
Action wraps up with the second game which is set to get underway from 13:30h between Woodley Park Secondary and No 8# Secondary.
Essequibo Islands/ Covent Garden emerge winners of Zone 2 and 3 respectively following last weekend’s action at Uitvlugt Ground.
Essequibo Islands, meanwhile, were crowned Zone 2 champions after disposing of West Demerara Secondary School by 9 wickets.
National youth all-rounder Bhomesh Lall (4-5) and Man-of-the-match Aarav Sukhram (5-1 and 11 runs), steered Essequibo Islands to an empathic 9 wicket win to help their School top its zone.
Meanwhile, finals MVP all-rounder Navindranauth Ram, who bagged 2-18 and scored 25, led Covent Garden Secondary to the Zone 3 title following a convincing 24-run victory in their finals over Yarrowkabra Secondary School.
