2026 𝐂𝐖𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫–𝟏𝟗 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Kaieteur Sports – The Guyana Under-19 squad will be gearing up to represent the country at this season’s Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Under-19 Tournament, set to bowl off in Antigua from July 7-23, 2026.
Opener Parmeshwar Ram has been appointed captain of the 23-member squad, while Romario Ramdeholl will serve as vice-captain.
The selected players are Justin Dowlin, Jonathan Mentore, Shamar Apple, Joshua Budram, Darwin Joseph, Dhanesh Persaud, Micah Amsterdam, Parmeshwar Ram, Romario Ramdeholl, Adrian Hetmyer, Razam Koober, Yannick Newton, Gilbert Griffith, Feaz Baksh, Richard Ramdeholl, Dave Mohabir, Thierry Henry, Khush Seegobin, Gibran Yacoob, Emmanuel Lewis, Jayhayden Rohler, Darrius Pearson and Shazim Mohamed.
The team will be under the guidance of Head Coach Kumar Bishundial, Assistant Coach Antony Adams and Manager Nazeer Mohamed, who will oversee the squad’s preparations and campaign in Antigua.
The GCB extends its congratulations to all selected players and wishes the squad and management team every success as they prepare to compete against the best young cricketers from across the region in pursuit of championship honours.
