In the Cheddi Jagan boys final, it was yet another night of excitement as Saints Stanislaus College did not disappoint the support of their parents. Player of the Georgetown tournament, Ishan Haricharan, single handedly took on last year 2nd place team Brickdam Secondary.
Saints Stanislaus College sent in Brickdam Secondary to bat, they scored 80-1 off their allotted 5 overs, with Prosper Jacobus not out on 36, Jaden Ramraj 16, while Naitram Samad took 1-10.
Saints Stanislaus College turn in the middle ended on 83-2 off 4 overs with Ishan Haricharan blasting an unbeaten 71 (6s x 7), after he was put down three times. Dildhan Ganesh 1-6 and Garren Newton 1-20 were the successful bowlers.
St Stanislaus College teams now advance to the national eight where there will be battling for the grand prize of Eight hundred thousand dollars among other incentives sponsored by the NSC and MCYS.
Brickdam Secondary School has once again had to settle for the #2 spot like in 2025.
