Kaieteur Sports – The inaugural Region 5 Softball Extravaganza is set for Sunday at the Bath Settlement Community Centre Ground from 9am and fans will be up for a treat as several softball teams from across regions 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be competing for supremacy.
The one-day limited overs knockout competition will see both male and female teams in action as players will have the opportunity to once again showcase their skills in the sports as the format will be round arm bowling and extras in place.
According to the organisers, teams will be vying for cash incentives and trophies along with prizes for the best bowling figures and highest score in an innings, MVPs and player of the finals.

Mr. Latchman Sukha, director of DBL Group Inc. said that he is very pleased support the tournament and these grassroots tournaments are what allow softball players to show their skills in the game.
Meanwhile, Mr. Angad Ganesh said that he glad to be part of the local game and wish all the teams the best.
There will be lots of side attractions and entertainment for the entire family.
Supporting the tournament are Amaya Milk Company, PT Hatchery, Z’S Enterprise, Singh and Sons Construction, Luxx Bar, DBL Ground Inc., and J&G Supermarket.
