Kaieteur Sports – Albion Community Centre Cricket Club (ACCCC) easily defeated Tucber Park Cricket Club (TPCC) by 111 runs in the final of the 2025 Ivan Madray T20 First Division Cricket Competition. The win was their third consecutive in the competition.
The game, which was played at the Albion Community Centre Ground, was expected to be a keenly contested affair by two of the top teams in the county. As they both boosted inter county, national and international players in their lineup.
However, ACCCC after winning the toss and taking first strike, took charge as they raced to 247 -4 off their allotted 20 overs.

Their score was led by a pugnacious century from former Guyana wicketkeeper batsman Anthony Bramble who clobbered 136 of a mere 58 deliveries with 11 sixes. Bramble received support from Devendra Latchman with 35 and Damion Cecil 34.
Bowling for Tucber Park, Malcolm Mickle picked up two wickets.
The visitors in reply made a brave effort at first, but were bowled out for 136 in 14.1 overs. Their effort was led by Damion Vantull with 25 while Garfield Benjamin made 23 and Joemal LaFleur 21.

Albion’s bowling was led by former West Indies leg-spinner Davendra Bishoo who bagged 4 for 25 as he dashed any hope the visitors had of getting close to the target. Kelvin Umrow picked up two wickets.
The competition was being played in memory of former Berbice, Guyana and West Indies cricketer Ivan Madray. Madray, who was a product of the Port Mourant CC, was the third Berbician to play Test Cricket for the West Indies.
The Tournament was sponsored by the Madray and Chintamani families in Memory of the legacy.
A total of 10 teams participated in the competition.
