Kaieteur Sports – This Saturday, the highly anticipated Big Man Cricket final will take place at the stunning Albion ground. As part of their mission to promote cricket across every corner of Guyana, the BMC organizers are excited to host the grand finale featuring Albion Masters and Vintage Strikers, kicking off at 12 PM. This BMC tournament was again sponsored by Peter Lewis Contracting & Asphalt Services, Permaul Trading & Distribution, Diamond Fire & General Insurance Co and Trophy Stall.
Leading the Albion team will be captain Sewnarine Chattergoon, alongside notable players like Devendra Bishoo, Royston Crandon, and Michael Chinsammy. Although Vintage Strikers may not boast the same level of high-profile players from Guyana and the West Indies, they are a well-rounded team featuring softball champions Richard Latif & Chien Gittens, plus the Benn brothers, and Andrew Lyght Jr. This matchup is sure to deliver an exhilarating and thrilling experience for all.
The game will be officiated by umpires Zahir Moakan and Trevor Wharton, with R. Narine serving as the standby official.
