Kaieteur Sports – The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) held its Annual General Meeting and BI Annual Election of Office Bearers on Sunday last at the Rose Hall Community Centre, East Canje, Berbice.
Incumbent President Dr Cecil Beharry was elected unopposed. Whilst there were some competition for the post of the three Vice Presidents. The outgoing three, David Black, Junior Blair and Qualis Winter were re-elected.

The Secretary remains Mahendra Algu. The new assist Secretary is retired Assistant Director of Prisons and Former National Athlete, Neil Rudder. Rovin Bahadur retains his position as Treasurer, while former assistant Secretary Ameer Rahaman is the new Assistant Treasurer.
Dr Beharry thanked the clubs for showing confidence in him and re-electing him as President. He promised to do his best and help Berbice cricket to return to its previous past of glory.
The executive body is expected to meet shortly to appoint more executive members and the various committees. (Samuel Whyte)
