(Kaieteur News) – Empire Media Inc. has announced that Guyana Breweries Inc. has come on board as a major sponsor for the electrifying Armageddon Sound Clash slated for January 2026.
The company was welcomed in a soft launch on Thursday at its headquarters. In a statement to the media Empire Media Inc. said that it continues to dominate the sound clash industry in Guyana, delivering some of the most entertaining events with an extremely talented line up, over the last few years.

“Speaking on behalf of Empire Media Inc., Carl Allen expressed appreciation and highlighted the importance of partnership through sponsorship in support of one of next year’s major sponsors—Guyana Breweries Inc., through its distinguished “RockStone Tonic Wine” brand,” it said.
Seweon McGarrell, Marketing Manager of Guyana Breweries Inc. who also spoke at the launch said that the brand is delighted with the developments as well as the showcasing of local talent by Empire Media Inc. through the Armageddon big stage.
He further expressed the company’s excitement about strengthening its relationship with the entertainment industry for another year.
At Armageddon 2025 Guyana witnessed the trophy leaving its shores and travelling all the way to Japan with Artical Pride Sound, which is slated to return to defend its title next year.
“This year, the competition expands even further, welcoming Warriors Sound from Germany, known globally for performances at international events such as the Jamrock Cruise. Fans can also expect the thrilling return of one of the most energetic and entertaining competitors—Kanabis Sound—now a Guyanese favorite, returning from Antigua,” the statement added.
After reaching the finals last year, local powerhouse from the West Side Slingaz Family Guyana will be returning to the stage. There will also be two new contenders to take to the stage namely Rude Boy Sound and Fire Fox Sound, both of whom have earned their spots. With this lineup, Armageddon 2026 promises an electrifying and unforgettable clash to crown the 2026 champion.
“Over the years, Empire Media Inc. has gone above and beyond to deliver historic entertainment moments, and next year will be no different. History will be made again on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 pm to 02:00 am at the National Park Tarmac, Thomas land,” the company said.
