Kaieteur News – Leader of the We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) party, Azruddin Mohamed has denied claims that his party plans to unite with other political parties after the September 1 general and regional elections.
In a video message posted on the party’s Facebook on Tuesday, Mohamed said “WIN party is aware of the lies being spread by both the opposition, APNU and the outgoing PPP Civic government, suggesting that WIN plans to a partnership with either of them after the election.”
Mohamed shared that as he travelled all across this country, thousands of his supporters have told him to not partner with these parties, or “we will not support you.”
He continued, “I made a commitment to voters, and I will not disappoint them. These baseless rumours are a reaction to internal polls showing WIN leading the race on Monday.”
Mohamed said his party will not allow the traditional parties to distract Guyanese from “real issues”.
“Let us be clear, WIN categorically denies any claims of secret deals or arrangements with any political party. By law, it is too late for any partnership to form. WIN is a registered independent party accountable only to the people of Guyana. Our coalition is not with any political party, it is with all Guyanese united for progress and prosperity. We remain committed to transparency, facts and solutions that serve everyone,” he explained.
The presidential hopeful accused both the APNU and PPP/C of “waging a joint campaign” against a party that is less than three months old.
“What they fail to understand is that this historic movement never seen before in the Western Hemisphere cannot be stopped. This big, blue wave is heading for victory,” he stated positively.
According to Mohamed, his attention is on addressing real issues affecting Guyanese.

Guyanese must acknowledge that the internet and social media are both new inventions to all. Social media is the greatest place for DISINFORMATION, LIES and people making up “nancy stories” because they get a thrill out of watching people scamper here and there. Besides, now we have the social media “tough guys” just like we had the telephone “tough guys”, who can type any lie and call people any name without facing them. This is the reason social media will be the downfall of mankind.
Before tying garbage on social media, you need to get the news source correctly; this is not absorbed by your neighbor or social media friend who can cuss down and criticize people without knowing the truth. But you all go along and have fun. One day your bucket bottom will drop out.
