Badminton players off to XXXIII Yonex Panam Junior Individual Championship and Camp in Guatemala

Kaieteur Sports – A three member Guyana Badminton team is off to the XXXIII Yonex Panam Junior Individual Championship and Camp in Guatemala.
The team comprising of Mishka Beharry (U19 GS) and Ruel Rambiriche (U17 BS) are accompanied by senior female athlete/coach Priyanna Ramdhani.
The team is expressing gratitude to the Guyana Olympic Association and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport for their support in making this tournament and camp possible.
Guyana Badminton Association President, Emily Ramdhani, informed that they will compete in the Girls Singles U19, Boys Singles U17 and the Mixed Doubles U19.
Over 400 plus participants from 17 countries with Age group tournaments ranging from U13-19, with the U19 being an international event for ranking points, are involved.
